Went to see an ENT to check on my hearing. There was no infection in either ear. He also checked my nose for some reason. He did say this was just a sign of old age. Yeah, right, just like my tremors except there is no pill to help me.
Then I sat with an audiologist to check my hearing. Turns out I do need a hearing aid. Problem is, my HMO does not cover this. She did give me a list of local organizations that might help me. I can put this on my emergency credit card, but that would be the last resort. She did say I can always raise the volume, which I already do.
We have to do the lotto and see when we win to take care of things like this.
